Website information

Privacy

SPP Institute uses limited first-party audience measurement to understand how its scholarly publications are accessed.

Usage analytics

For publication pages, the website records aggregate counts of page views and PDF download requests. It also derives country, device category, preferred language, and referring domain at the time of the request. These data are used solely to measure readership and improve access to SPP Institute publications.

Raw IP addresses, full browser user-agent strings, full referrer URLs, names, email addresses, and persistent visitor identifiers are not stored. A short-lived cryptographic hash is used only to suppress repeated counts from the same network and browser within a limited period. No visitor analytics cookies are used.

Country-level public statistics are subject to a minimum-count threshold. Small counts are grouped to reduce the risk that an individual reader could be inferred from a rare location.

Zenodo statistics

Where displayed, Zenodo views and downloads are retrieved from the public Zenodo record and are shown separately from SPP Institute website metrics. Zenodo applies its own usage-statistics methodology and privacy policy.
