About

SPP Institute

SPP Institute is a research, scholarly publishing, and educational initiative of NeuroCentrum, s.r.o., established to develop and communicate clinically grounded, scientifically testable frameworks.

Name

What SPP stands for

The initials SPP stand for Somato-Psychic Pathway. This framework gave the Institute its name and remains central to its research programme.

The Institute’s scope is broader than this single framework and also includes Persistent Afferent Bias, axial organization, autonomic regulation, neurodevelopment, and related methodological development.

Purpose

Conceptual precision and empirical testability

SPP Institute supports the formal development of terminology, mechanistic models, and methodological positions arising from long-term clinical observation and interdisciplinary scientific synthesis.

The objective is to make emerging concepts explicit, internally coherent, transparent in their evidence status, and open to empirical evaluation.
